Bearing Maintenance and Inspection

2026-01-16

Monitor the temperatures of the fan bearings, motor bearings, and motor housing. Use an infrared thermometer for measurement. The maximum bearing temperature must not exceed 80°C, with a temperature rise not exceeding 40°C. The motor housing temperature should not exceed 100°C (Class F insulation).

Even when equipment is operating normally, conduct inspections at least once annually, including:Check all bearing surfaces for scratches or cracks; Verify proper fit between the bearing outer ring and housing, and ensure free-end play is normal; Inspect alignment between the shaft and bearing housing center, check all mounting bolts for looseness, and confirm gap adjustment shims are in proper condition.
